Who is building it
Carlos Machado is putting the team together.

Where he comes from
He grew up in Rio de Janeiro on the Gracie mats, the eldest of the five Machado brothers and a cousin of the Gracies. He trained under Grandmaster Carlos Gracie and was mentored by Rolls Gracie.
In the early 1990s Chuck Norris became his student, then a lifelong friend. Norris helped the brothers open their first academy in Tarzana and put them on Walker, Texas Ranger. That friendship brought Carlos to Texas in 1995, when Brazilian jiu-jitsu was almost unknown in the region.
Thirty years on, he still teaches every level personally in Carrollton, and much of the jiu-jitsu taught across the Southwest traces back to his mat. Today that curriculum is taught through the Machado Method Jiu-Jitsu Association, which he founded.
